An association of approximately 250 laryngectomee clubs and regional organizations worldwide. Their purpose is to promote and support the total rehabilitation of the laryngectomee by the exchnage of ideas and dissemnination of information. Contact the IAL for helpful literature and references and for information on club programs and activities, individual member club locations and contacts, vendors of laryngectomee supplies, upcoming meetings, etc.

An internet organization with hundreds of members worldwide. It’s web page provides a variety of interesting and valuable information and humor. There is a periodic on-line newsletter. Members communicate individually online and at planned chats, and sometimes get together in person at state, regional and international IAL meetings.

American Cancer Society ( ACS )
A nationwide, community based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, the ACS has 12 chartered divisions and 900 local offices nationwide covering more than 5100 communities.
